The Regulus is a versatile one channel amp with multiple tone shaping capabilities. It is the little brother of the Arcturus model, which is based on a hot-rodded Marshall but with 20 watts of power instead of 50. It can produce searing metal tones and the desired metal chugging, but can also achieve classic rock crunch and clean tones. With lower wattage than the Arcturus, the Regulus will give you plenty of power tube breakup without punishing your spouse, children, or neighbors too much, but can easily cut through the mix at a gig.
