Happy 2026!

Sloane Amplification would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. 2025 was another exciting and successful year for us! We have continued to work with online creators Kyle Bull (belligerentamateur) and Jarrod Grumblatt (TONEWARSgearshow), and expanded our reach by collaborating with Draven Noire (Dravennoireaudio), Drew Lankford (fastredponycar), and Warren Hughes (Legato1984). We have deals in the works to add new creators and collaborate with other product builders and musicians Alexander Taylor  (Tone Volta Guitars) and Joe Wyatt (Passion for Tone) in 2026. We will continue to exhibit at guitar and gear shows throughout Ohio and surrounding states.

As expected, the new Procyon model was introduced in 2025 which is the little sibling to the Antares. As the Antares is an inspired 50 watt or 100 watt SLO, the Procyon is a 20 watt version in a smaller cab. Early reviews from creators and owners report that the Procyon can easily keep up with a heavy hitting drummer and quite possible may be all you need for gigs.

We introduced new line of amps called the “Special Builds” in 2025. These are basically Sloane Amp circuits using used modern production, used vintage, or NOS vintage, transformers as well as quality parts that have been discontinued. These are great sounding and well built amps that are being sold a big discount. They do not last too long when put up for sale, so if you see one, grab it!

Looking forward in the upcoming year 2026, we are working on a number of new things including:

  • Getting a Regulus model to the creators. The Regulus is the little sibling to the Arcturus model which is a hot rodded Marshall inspired amp. This amp has been part of the Sloane Amp line for a few years but has not been reviewed by any creators.

  • The plans for a Trainwreck style amp are on hold in lieu of a new high gain model. This amp will be built in collaboration with a creator. We are hoping to get a final prototype built by the end of summer, possibly sooner!

  • The Canopus model has been discontinued. This model was a Fender AB763 circuit inspired model. It is the clean channel in the Antares Deluxe and Arcturus Deluxe. However, this amp is still being built as the Powerglide model which Sloane Amps has been building for Clifton Guitarworks. Clifton Guitarworks builds hand crafted guitars using reclaimed and rescued wood. We have been working together for several years and plan to continue.

  • The plans to start building 1x12 and 2x12 cabs did not come to fruition in 2025 but is in the works for 2026.

  • The swag/merch shop is open on the website and we will be adding more products.

  • There are no planned price increases for this year however with the unpredictability of the US economy due to tariffs this can change. We are doing the best to maintain high quality products and keep them affordable despite the uncertainty of this market. For Sloane Amps to adapt to these industry changes there will be some small feature changes to various models.

  • The Send Level and Bypass switch for the FX loop and the Solo Boost will start to be “add on” features on the Antares Standard and Deluxe and Arcturus Standard and Deluxe. The Solo Boost feature will be and additional $100 and the FX loop bypass and send level will be and additional $75. The Send Level and Bypass switch for the FX loop will also be an additional $75 on the Procyon and Regulus. These models did not come with a Solo Boost but an add on will be available for $100. These changes have not taken place and will be implemented gradually as our supply of parts changes. We still have amps in stock and a supply of front and rear control plates that have these features so until they are depleted, we will provide these features at no extra charge.

  • To offset the extra charges for Solo Boost and FX Loop and Bypass and Send Level, new tone shaping feature will be added. The Response switch which will eventually be controlled by a pot to give you more precise control. The Saturation switch will have two options of diode clipping instead of one for more tone shaping ability. We are also considering adding a bright switch and/or a mid boost. The foot switches will eventually be higher quality with an LED indicator.

  • We are going to be adding serial numbers to our amps to help track sales and support.

  • Lastly, the chassis will be made from thicker .080 zinc plated steel instead of .063 aluminum.
